As digital surveillance and targeted threats against independent journalists intensify, securing sensitive sources has never been more urgent.

Building newsroom resilience

Beyond tools and tactics, participants developed practical risk protocols they could immediately roll out across their newsrooms — strengthening institutional resilience in a fast-shifting digital threat landscape.

Investing in digital safety is foundational to protecting both journalists and the sources who make public-interest reporting possible.
